Goodbye 2018, Hello 2019.

Happy Holidays! I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! It's hard to believe it is Christmas time once again and 2018 is leaving us and we are ushering in a new year. How fast time flies. I plan on using the next two weeks to relax, enjoy family and slow down. I have lots of ideas for 2019 and I want to be rested and ready to begin the new year.

I also wanted reflect over the past year. I can't thank everyone enough for all the holiday purchases over the last month or so. It's only been the last few months that I've taken Milly Bean Handiworks from a hobby to a business and I'm excited for the progress that I've made. Every purchase is an absolute thrill to me and a dream come true. I'm so happy to be able to have a chance to do what I love and to share it with you.

2018 has been a great year for me. My most popular pattern and kit were my snowflakes. I loved creating these little snowflakes and I hope they are hanging on trees and homes every where. The thought that my design stretches from California to the UK is amazing. I'm so appreciative and makes me very excited for the future.

I'm very much looking forward to 2019. In 2018 I grew from just digital patterns, to kits, to cross stitch pins, to carved wood signs. In 2019 I plan on expanding my wood signs. I love learning this new skill and I can't wait to show you what's in store. I also plan on adding more cross stitch patterns, kits, and pins. I love these little pins, they are fun and unique and not to mention adorable!

I also want to spend the next year sharing more. I want to expand my blog and show you behind the scenes. I want to invite you to learn a little more about me and what Milly Bean Handiworks is all about. So keep an eye out, I'm hoping to show up here about every 2 weeks. I also have plans for a monthly newsletter. As always you can see more of my day to day on Instagram @millybeanhandiworks.

I'm very excited for the next year and all the possibilities. As for now, I'm super excited as I write this post because the belt I was waiting for that needed to be replaced on my Xcarve just arrived! I can't wait to spend the next few days with family and sneaking out to the workshop every chance I get. I can't wait to share 2019 with you all. I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday and take a moment to just relax and enjoy the season!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

~ Jennifer
