Hello May!
I hope everyone is enjoying spring! It's been wonderful to see all the flowers blooming and the leaves on the trees again, but the pollen has been crazy! I'm looking forward to summer, the pool and being able to work outdoors.
The workshop has been abuzz with new designs and new signs. I've released 3 new signs. The first is a sign perfect for Spring, Love Grows Here. I love the way the stitched flower looks on the natural wood. The words Love Grows Here are painted in a wonderful shade of green called grasshopper green. This sign measures 5.5 inches by 24 inches and has 2 saw tooth hangers in the back perfect for hanging.
The second sign is a custom sign. I made 2 Reach For The Stars signs for my grandchildren. I offer these signs in my shop as a custom order. You can personalize the name and the colors of the lettering and the stars. These signs make a perfect gift or just a fun addition to any children's room!
The last sign I released Friday, Unicorn X-ing! Unicorns are such a fun, magical creature and I thought it would be neat to create a sign that would bring this mythical creature to life. I painted the unicorn's horn with a sparkly gold acrylic paint and made a rainbow colored mane using DMC floss. I'm thinking of offering this sign as a custom order.
In the workshop I'm working on a few more new signs and I have an idea for a clock. I'm excited for the ideas I have and I can't wait to share them with you. I'm always looking for new ideas and signs to customize. If there is an embroidered sign you would like to see leave me a comment and I'll see what I can design. Also what would you like to see in a post? Information on my process? Tools that I use? I'm new to woodworking and would welcome any thoughts and ideas!
